Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government is continuously working to provide better education and employment opportunities to the youth. In this direction, work is being done rapidly on the plan to increase the number of medical colleges and increase the number of medical seats. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was talking to the media at the helipad during his visit to Panna. He said that the scope of medical education in the state is continuously increasing and in the coming years, youth as well as common citizens will directly benefit from it.

MP Medical Colleges: Medical colleges will increase from 34 to 52 in two years

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that currently 34 medical colleges are running in Madhya Pradesh. The government aims to increase their number to 52 in the next two years. With this, students of the state will not have to go to other states for medical education and health services will also be strengthened. He said that the expansion of medical colleges is not limited to education only, but it will increase the number of doctors and better treatment facilities will also be available in remote areas of the state.

Medical Seats in MP: Increased from 500 to 5,500, now target of 10 thousand

Referring to the expansion of medical education, the Chief Minister said that in the year 2002-03, there were only 5 medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. At that time the number of medical seats was also around 500. He said that today the medical seats in the state have increased to about 5,500. The government aims to increase these numbers to 10 thousand in the coming time. He said that this is not just an announcement, but a clear commitment of the state government, on which work is being continuously done.

Youth will benefit, employment opportunities will increase

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government is trying to increase employment opportunities for the youth through various new courses and institutions. The expansion of medical education will provide opportunities for higher education to thousands of students, while a large number of new employment opportunities will be created in the health sector. He said that a strong medical system and trained doctors are the important cornerstone of the development of any state. With this thinking in mind, the government is continuously investing in the field of health education.

Panna Medical College: Will be inaugurated next year

The Chief Minister informed in the inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan program organized in Panna that Panna Medical College will be inaugurated next year. This medical college is being built on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model and the construction work of the building is going on at a fast pace.

He said that at present people of Panna district have to go to Satna Medical College or Chhatarpur for serious and specialized medical services. After the opening of Panna Medical College, better health facilities will be available to the people of the district and surrounding areas at the local level.
