Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited Ujjain on two-wheeler and on foot and inspected the construction works of Simhastha 2028 and interacted with citizens and businessmen.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Ujjain on Friday evening and inspected the ongoing development and construction works in the city at the ground level keeping in mind Simhastha 2028. He took stock of the progress of various projects by touring on two-wheeler and on foot. During this, along with taking information about the status of construction works from the officials, he also communicated directly with the local citizens and businessmen.

The Chief Minister toured from VIP Guest House (Dewas Road) to Madhavnagar, Tower Chowk and Freeganj. After this, he inspected the new bridge being built parallel to the Freeganj Bridge and got information about the updated progress of the construction work from the officials of the bridge department.

During the inspection, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the new bridge being built in Freeganj. Along with this, he also inspected the ongoing road widening work from Coal Gate to Kanthal intersection. He instructed the officials to ensure the quality and timeliness of the construction works. While reviewing the progress of various projects, the Chief Minister obtained the necessary information on the spot.

CM Mohan Yadav News: Direct conversation with local citizens and businessmen

During the inspection, the Chief Minister met the citizens and shopkeepers of the city and inquired about their well-being. He also listened to the opinions of the local people regarding the construction works and received suggestions from them. After this the Chief Minister reached Nijatpura, where he also inspected the development works going on there. After taking information about the current status of the projects from the officials, he stressed on completing the works on time.

Walking tour in Ujjain, residents gave warm welcome

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav traveled on foot from Koyla Phatak to Nijatpura. During this, a large number of local people welcomed him and had a cordial conversation with him. The residents appreciated the easy going and simple behavior of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister also accepted the greetings of the people and discussed with them the common problems and development works of the area.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made Jalebi, also enjoyed tea at the local shop

During the inspection, the Chief Minister also visited a famous sweet shop located at Kanthal intersection. There he talked to the shop owner and inquired about his well-being. At the same time, Jalebi was being made at the shop. On the request of the shop operator, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav himself made Jalebi. After this he also enjoyed tea with the local people. This scene became the center of attraction for the people present there.

Simhastha 2028 Construction: The pace of development works will increase further

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that many ongoing construction works regarding Simhastha 2028 have reached the final stage, while some projects have also been completed. He said that the general public seems to be satisfied with the development works and the projects for which the need was felt for a long time, work is going on at a fast pace. The Chief Minister assured that the pace of construction work will be further accelerated in the coming times so that all the projects can be completed on time.

A review was also conducted on the preparations for the Sawan-Bhadau ride of Mahakal.

During the inspection, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also discussed with the administrative officials and public representatives regarding the management of the traditional ride of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar in the month of Sawan and Bhadau. He reviewed the necessary preparations to improve the facilities of the devotees, traffic system and security management and directed the concerned officials to ensure proper arrangements.
