Bhoomi pujan of the Rs 5,017 crore Ujjain-Jawara greenfield fourlane project will be held on July 10. This will provide huge benefits to 35 lakh people, farmers, business and Simhastha-2028.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that on July 10, an important achievement is going to be added in the field of road development of Madhya Pradesh. On this day, Bhoomi Pujan of Ujjain-Jaora Greenfield Four Lane Road Project will be performed. This 98.73 km long project will be constructed by Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) at a cost of approximately Rs 5,017 crore.

This four-lane road will pass through Ujjain South, Ghattiya, Nagda-Khachraud, Alot and Javra assembly constituencies. The government aims to complete the project within two years. Upon its completion, approximately 35 lakh people and 62 villages will get direct benefits.

There will be direct connectivity with Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, preparations for Simhastha-2028 will also benefit.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that after the construction of this greenfield four lane, direct and fast connection of Ujjain with Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will be established. This will make the journey of devotees and tourists coming from Rajasthan, Gujarat and other states of the country easier than ever, especially during Simhastha-2028. He said that this project will also strengthen the road connectivity of Indore, Bhopal and the entire Malwa region, so that people will get the benefit of fast and safe travel.

Rail overbridges, big bridges and hundreds of culverts will be built in the project.

Under the Greenfield Fourlane Project, a 98.73 km long modern fourlane road will be constructed. Along with this, construction of 3 Rail Overbridges (ROB), 9 major bridges, 26 medium bridges and 417 culverts is also proposed. Apart from this, service roads will also be built on both sides from Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Interchange to Mhow-Neemuch four-lane road on Javra Bypass, which will provide better facilities to local traffic.

Industrial development, trade and farmers will get big benefits

The Chief Minister said that the completion of this road project will give new impetus to the industrial, commercial and agricultural development of Malwa region. Farmers will get the facility to deliver their crops and agricultural products to various markets in less time. This will also reduce transportation costs and strengthen agricultural business. Besides, industries, logistics and new investments will also get a boost. Better road network will reduce travel time, save fuel and also see significant improvement in road safety.

Included in the most important infrastructure projects of Madhya Pradesh

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Ujjain-Jawara Greenfield Four Lane Project is included among the major infrastructure projects of the state. After its completion, the economic, industrial and social progress of Madhya Pradesh will get a new direction. Besides, the overall development of Malwa region will also get a faster pace and the connectivity of the state will be stronger than before.
