Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the 26th meeting of the Central Regional Council in Bastar. After the meeting, he offered prayers at Maa Danteshwari temple in Dantewada and made a big statement regarding development and public welfare works under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Bhopal/Bastar. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reached Bastar in Chhattisgarh on Monday, where he participated in the 26th meeting of the Central Regional Council. This important meeting was presided over by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. Senior officials of various states including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai were also present in the meeting.
Bastar Meeting 2026: Development and coordination discussed in the Central Regional Council meeting
In the 26th meeting of the Central Regional Council held in Bastar, issues related to coordination between states, development works and public welfare were discussed. In the meeting, emphasis was laid on accelerating development plans through better coordination between the Center and the states. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav presented his views in the meeting on the development plans of Madhya Pradesh and issues related to public interest.

After the meeting was over, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reached the famous Maa Danteshwari temple located in Dantewada. Here he offered prayers and prayed for the prosperity of the state and the country. He also met and interacted with the local people in the temple premises. During this time a large number of people were present to see the Chief Minister.

While talking to the media, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that with the blessings of Mother Danteshwari, the country is continuously progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Central Government is taking public welfare works forward on priority. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the country is establishing new dimensions of development. Besides, the tradition of Sanatan culture is also getting stronger and people of all religions are living in harmony. Praying to Mother Danteshwari, he said that every section of the society including the poor, youth, farmers and women should be well-being and the works of public interest should continue to progress.
Chhattisgarh Government and MP Government are jointly increasing development work.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Chhattisgarh government is also continuously active in public welfare and development works. He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the pace of development in both the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will continue. He said that both the states together are carrying forward many schemes in the interest of the public and in the coming times the common people will benefit from them.
Also visited Dantewada Science Center
During his stay in Bastar, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also visited Dantewada Science Centre. There he took information about various models and activities related to science and technology. Appreciating the educational and awareness activities going on at the Science Centre, the Chief Minister said that such efforts will prove helpful in giving new direction to the youth.
