Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the 300 bed district hospital built at a cost of Rs 83 crore in Indore. Made many big announcements including Medical College, UCC and new road.
Bhopal/Indore. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the new 300-bed district hospital building in Indore on July 15. Built at a cost of about Rs 83 crore, this state-of-the-art hospital has four floors and is equipped with modern health facilities. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the construction of a new road from Chandan Nagar to the airport.
Addressing the program, CM Mohan Yadav said that this hospital is not just a building, but an important step towards strengthening the health services of the state. He described it as a new temple of service, good governance and public welfare.
Indore Hospital Inauguration: 83 crore hospital will give new strength to health services
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the country is changing rapidly and India is creating a new identity in every field. Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that in the last 12 years, the country has seen many such decisions which have given a new direction to India. He said that just as bitter medicine is necessary for the treatment of any serious disease, similarly many difficult decisions had to be taken to take the country forward. Implementing GST was also such a big and challenging decision. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Modi takes such decisions with foresight, which benefit the country in the long run. Today, India’s strengthening economy is proof of this.
MP Medical Colleges: Journey from 5 to 33 medical colleges, soon there will be 52 colleges
The Chief Minister also talked in detail about the expansion of medical education in the state. He said that after the formation of Madhya Pradesh, till the year 2002-03, there were only 5 medical colleges in the state and only 500 MBBS seats were available. He said that today 33 medical colleges are running in the state and the number of UG seats has increased to 5,500. The government aims to increase the number of medical colleges to 52 in the next two and a half years. The Chief Minister said that this is not just a change in the figures, but the government’s commitment to strengthen the health infrastructure and medical education of the state.
Medical Education Scheme: Government is also providing help for fees worth crores of private medical colleges.
Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is one of those states in the country where students passing the NEET exam are being given assistance to study in government medical colleges as well as private medical colleges. He said that even if a student gets admission in a private medical college and the fees reaches Rs 1 crore, the government is still helping in providing the necessary education loan to become a doctor. This will provide an opportunity to economically weak but talented students to get medical education.
Indore Development: New road will be built from Chandan Nagar to Airport
Along with the health project, the Chief Minister also made a big announcement towards strengthening the infrastructure of Indore. Announcing the construction of a new road from Chandan Nagar to the airport, he said that better road network will ease the traffic in the city and will provide convenience to the people. He said that mere construction of roads and drains is not development, but balanced development in every sector including education, health, industry, employment and infrastructure is necessary.
MP UCC Update: Proposal for Uniform Civil Code will be placed in the monsoon session of the Assembly.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also made an important announcement regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He said that a proposal related to Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be presented in the upcoming assembly session. He said that this idea is inspired by the thinking of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of Jan Sangh. Also, while mentioning the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove Article 370, he said that the country is moving towards equal law and order.
UCC will be implemented after more than 10 lakh suggestions
The Chief Minister said that before implementing UCC in the state, extensive public dialogue was conducted. For this, a special committee was formed, which received more than 10 lakh suggestions from all 55 districts of the state. He said that the suggestions received from various political parties, social organizations, religious communities and common citizens have been studied. The government’s effort is to implement the Uniform Civil Code by completing the necessary legal process on the basis of consensus and widespread agreement.
Government’s priority for farmers and youth also continues
The Chief Minister said that under the Farmers Welfare Year, many schemes are being run in the state in the interest of farmers. At the same time, investment, employment and innovation are being promoted through programs like the recently organized MP Tech Growth Conclave for the youth. He said that the aim of the government is to ensure balanced development in all sectors like health, education, agriculture, industry and employment so that Madhya Pradesh can establish new dimensions of overall development.
