Jan Vishwas campaign will start in Madhya Pradesh from 7th August. Every Friday, ministers and officials will reach out to the public, listen to complaints and review the schemes.

Dr. Mohan Yadav Government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to launch a new initiative with the aim of connecting the administration directly with the public and taking the benefits of government schemes to the last person. ‘Jan Vishwas Abhiyan’ will start across the state from August 7. This campaign will be organized every Friday, in which ministers, public representatives and administrative officials will visit villages and urban wards and interact directly with the people.
The government believes that when officials and public representatives themselves reach out to the people, the problems will be resolved faster and the real status of the schemes will also be revealed. With this thinking in mind, this campaign is being implemented at the statewide level.
Jan Vishwas Abhiyan 2026: Administration will be in the field every Friday
An important decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. According to the decision, now the big regular meetings held every Friday at the Ministry, District and Division level will not be given priority. Instead, ministers, officers and public representatives will go to their respective areas and meet the public.
During this, he will reach the wards of villages, towns and cities and listen to the problems of the people and also assess the ground situation of the schemes run by various departments. The objective of the government is to ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the eligible beneficiaries on time and without any hindrance.

The main goal of the campaign will be quick resolution of public complaints.
The most important objective of Jan Vishwas Abhiyan is to provide quick solution to the problems of common people. Officials will meet people directly, listen to their complaints and, wherever possible, try to provide solutions on the spot. If immediate resolution of a case is not possible, arrangements will be made to resolve it through a time bound process. This will reduce the need for people to make repeated visits to government offices and will increase the speed of disposal of complaints.
Special focus will be on ground review of government schemes
The campaign will not be limited to just listening to complaints. Through this, the implementation of schemes of various departments will also be reviewed. The officials will see whether the benefits of the schemes are actually reaching the needy people or not. The government believes that the review conducted in the field will reveal the shortcomings of the schemes and they can be removed in time. This will make the administrative system more effective and accountable.
Good governance and transparency will get a new direction
Giving information about the decisions of the Cabinet, Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh said that the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan is an important step towards strengthening good governance. This will increase communication between the government and the public and bring transparency in administrative processes. He said that the ministers will start the campaign from the districts under their respective charge. After this it will be operated regularly in the entire state.
Government keeps a strict eye on corruption and negligence
The government has clarified that if any complaint of corruption, irregularity or negligence comes to light at any level during the campaign, strict action will be taken against the concerned officer or employee. The basic mantra of the campaign has been kept as ‘dialogue, solution, sensitivity and simplicity’. No additional budget has been set aside for this and emphasis will be laid on avoiding unnecessary frills.
Preparation to take suggestions and complaints directly from the public
The state government has appealed to the citizens to take advantage of this campaign and put forward their problems, complaints and suggestions directly to the officials and public representatives. The government believes that by reaching out to the public the administration will speed up the resolution of problems and the governance system will become more transparent and accountable.

Madhya Pradesh government has already been trying to provide the benefits of government schemes to the people through public welfare camps and public relations programs. Jan Vishwas Abhiyan is being seen as a big step in this regard.
