The Meteorological Department of Madhya Pradesh has issued a heat wave alert in 22 districts of the state. While cautioning the people, he said that children, elderly and sick people should not come out of the house between 12 noon to 4 pm. Temperature reaches record from Indore to Gwalior

Let us tell you that Khajuraho of Madhya Pradesh was the hottest city of the state on Saturday. The temperature here was recorded at 44 degrees Celsius. That means Khajuraho of Chhatarpur district was the hottest. The maximum temperature recorded in Chhatarpur was 44.6 degrees. The temperature reached 43 degrees in Gwalior. The temperature was 42.2 degrees in Indore, 42.4 degrees in Bhopal and 42.6 degrees in Jabalpur. Whereas in Ujjain the mercury reached near 43 degrees. The temperature was 44.1 degrees in Tia-Dhar, 44 degrees in Naugaon-Sheopur, 43.8 degrees in Tikamgarh-Mandla, 43.6 degrees in Damoh, 43.5 degrees in Umaria, 43.4 degrees in Narmadapuram.

All schools up to 8th in Bhopal closed till 30th April

On Sunday morning, in view of the rising temperature and heatwave, Bhopal Collector issued an order for all schools up to 8th across the city to remain closed till 30th April. However, here classes from class 9th to 12th will be conducted from 7:30 am to 12 noon. In Indore district, holiday has been declared in Anganwadi centers and all schools up to 8th from April 27 to 30.
