Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approved schemes worth more than Rs 30 thousand crore. This includes many important schemes like crop insurance, pension scheme, women-child protection, Jal Jeevan Mission, transfer policy and public service guarantee.

Bhopal. Many important decisions related to development and public welfare were approved in the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet meeting held on May 20 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The Cabinet gave total financial approval of Rs 30 thousand 055 crore for various schemes and programmes.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is continuously working on Mission Gyan, Garib, Yuva, Annadata and Nari Shakti, giving priority to the interests of the public. He said that the government is continuously taking farmer-friendly decisions while considering the year 2026 as the year of farmers’ welfare.

MP Transfer Policy 2026: Transfers will take place from June 1 to 15.

The Cabinet approved “Transfer Policy of Officers-Employees at State and District Level 2026”. According to the new policy, the ban on transfer will be relaxed from June 1 to June 15, 2026. It has also been decided in the policy that cases involving husband and wife being posted at the same place and serious illness will be kept in a special category. District level transfers of Class III and IV employees will be done with the permission of the Minister in-charge. Whereas transfers of first class officers will take place after the approval of the Chief Minister.

PM Fasal Bima Yojana MP: Rs 11,608 crore approved for farmers

The Cabinet has approved Rs 11,608 crore 47 lakh to continue the Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme for the next five years. This scheme will be applicable from the financial year 2026-27 to 2030-31. The government has decided that a minimum claim payment of Rs 1000 per season will be ensured to eligible farmers. If the claim amount is less than this, the state government will bear the difference.

Pension Scheme MP: Big decision for elderly people, widowed women and disabled people

The Cabinet has approved Rs 15 thousand 184 crore 42 lakh for the schemes of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Rs 2,123 crore has been approved for the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme. Under this scheme, women above 40 years of age living below the poverty line will be given a pension of Rs 600 per month.

Apart from this, Rs 13,061 crore has been approved for the overall social security pension scheme. Under the scheme, monthly assistance of Rs 600 will be given to old people, widowed women, disabled people and unmarried women above 50 years of age.

Jal Jeevan Mission MP: Water supply schemes of Seoni and Dewas approved

The Cabinet gave revised administrative approval of Rs 593 crore 24 lakh for Bandol of Seoni and Nemawar Group Water Supply Schemes of Dewas. Many new villages and hamlets will be added under these schemes. Also, under Jal Jeevan Mission, pipelines, tanks and water distribution system will be expanded to provide domestic tap connections to rural families.

Women and Child Safety Scheme MP: Rs 156 crore for women and child safety schemes

The Cabinet has approved Rs 156 crore for the schemes of the Women and Child Development Department. This includes Rs 113 crore 50 lakh for Child Helpline, Rs 27 crore 50 lakh for POCSO Victim Assistance Scheme and Rs 15 crore for Shaurya Dal Scheme. Under the new system, help desks will be set up in many new districts, railway stations and bus stands.

Child Helpline 1098 MP: Children in distress will get immediate help

Child Helpline-1098 is being operated under Mission Vatsalya Scheme in 51 districts of the state. Through this, medical, shelter, legal and emotional support is provided to children in crisis. Under the POCSO Victim Assistance Scheme, girls up to 18 years of age are also given financial assistance from the Nirbhaya Fund.

Lok Seva Guarantee Act MP: Rs 360 crore for Lok Seva Guarantee

The Cabinet has approved Rs 360 crore for the effective operation of the Public Service Guarantee Act. This amount will be used from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031. At present 444 public service centers are operating in the state and 733 services have been notified under the Act. Of these, 637 services are available online.

Labor Welfare Schemes MP: Rs 1779 crore to labor welfare schemes

Approval of Rs 1,779 crore 7 lakh has been given for various schemes of the Labor Department. This includes schemes related to Employees’ State Insurance Scheme, Industrial Court and Labor Court. The objective of these schemes is to provide better medical and legal facilities to the workers and their families.

Good Governance Institute MP: Rs 373 crore to Atal Good Governance Institute

The Cabinet has approved Rs 373 crore 38 lakh for the operation of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis. The institute will conduct governance related research, policy analysis, impact evaluation of schemes and youth related programs like Chief Minister Young Professional and Young Intern for Good Governance Programme.
