Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has heartily congratulated the students who got success in the second chance examination-2026 of Class 12th of the Board of Secondary Education and extended best wishes for their bright future. He said that keeping in mind the educational interests of the students of the state, for the first time this year the Board of Secondary Education conducted ‘Second Chance Examination’ in place of the traditional supplementary examination. This arrangement has proved especially beneficial for those students who could not achieve the expected results in the main examination.

Students got new opportunity under National Education Policy 2020
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this important and historic initiative has been taken in the interest of students in Madhya Pradesh in accordance with the objectives of the National Education Policy-2020 implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This system has provided another opportunity to thousands of students to achieve their educational goals. He said that this change in the education system is strengthening the self-confidence of the students as well as giving a new direction to their future.
Category improvement and those who gave missed exams also got benefits
The Chief Minister said that the second chance examination has proved useful not only for the failed students but also for the students who want category improvement. Apart from this, those students, who could not appear in the main examination due to serious illness, personal reasons or other circumstances, also got the opportunity to continue their studies through this examination and get better results.
MP Board Result 2026: Out of 1.42 lakh students, 84 thousand were successful
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav informed that a total of 1 lakh 42 thousand students had participated in the Second Chance Examination-2026. Out of these, about 84 thousand students have achieved success. He said that a large number of students availed this opportunity shows the success of this initiative. This system will play an important role in strengthening the further education, career and self-confidence of the students.
