Mouni Roy and Sooraj Nambiar’s divorce
On May 14, Mouni Roy and Sooraj Nambiar decided to separate. The couple released a statement on social media requesting privacy and dignity be maintained as they deal with this situation privately and amicably. In the statement, Mouni and Sooraj expressed disappointment over the unnecessary and interference in their personal lives. She also objected to the circulation of fabricated stories and outright lies and said that such stories do not reflect the truth of their relationship. If reports are to be believed, Mouni and Sooraj first met in Dubai in 2019 and they got married in Goa on 27 January 2022.
