Actress Mouni Roy has described her recent birthday celebration as “cathartic”, saying the occasion made her appreciate the people who have stood by her through different phases of her life.
The ‘Brahmastra’ actress shared a series of pictures from her birthday getaway on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the celebrations she enjoyed with close friends.
“A little whimsical, a little lost, and happily curious… just like Alice, somewhere between here and Wonderland,” Mouni wrote alongside the photographs.
Reflecting on the occasion, she added, “This birthday felt cathartic, but also this year I know who’s mine & I’m so grateful.”
Mouni also expressed gratitude for friends who have continued to be present through both the highs and difficult moments. The actress shared pictures with several of her close female friends and two male friends, while also mentioning another friend whom she missed during the celebrations.
She ended her note on a spiritual and positive note, writing, “Only love & grace & strength. Om Namah Shivaay.”

Mouni turned 41 on September 28 and celebrated her birthday with a getaway to Goa, surrounded by close friends.
