Motihari: 22 bottles of foreign liquor recovered from Inspector’s house, escaped secretly after seeing the police

There is complete prohibition of liquor in Bihar. Both drinking and serving alcohol are illegal here. If caught in this case, you may have to go to jail in both cases. The surprising thing is that these rules are just words. Because every day liquor is caught somewhere in Bihar and the drinkers are also caught. In Motihari district, a uniformed man was not only consuming banned liquor, but he had also stocked a large quantity of liquor.

Information about stocking of liquor was received by Motihari’s dynamic Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat. Foreign and expensive liquor was kept stocked at the house of RPF Inspector Pankaj Gupta of Bapudham Motihari Railway Station. On receiving information about stocked liquor, he took immediate action. In this case, the Superintendent of Police under the leadership of DSP of Cyber Cell sent a message to the city police station to inform whether the information was found to be correct. The police team reached Pankaj Gupta’s house.

Liquor bottles found at home

At the same time the RPF inspector secretly came out of the house. During the search of his room, when the cupboard was opened, many expensive liquor bottles were kept there. The police team was surprised to see the liquor bottle. There was also expensive liquor like Blender Pride 100 Pipes. Here liquor was recovered in the proportion of 22 bottles i.e. 15 litres. The police team also found about Rs 95 thousand in cash from there.

Liquor found on window bottles also

When the police reached the inspector’s house, they found some liquor bottles thrown near his bedroom window. The police team also confiscated those liquor bottles. Inspector Pankaj Kumar Gupta, under the influence of his uniform, has been occupying the rest house of the Assistant Divisional Engineer of the Engineering Department of Railways for the last three years. Police are still conducting raids to find the absconding RPF inspector.

Besides, investigation is also being done at many points as to where did this liquor come from in such a large quantity? Is it possible that the RPF inspectors are merely making ends meet by taking out some liquor from the liquor recovered during the searches in the trains? At present, the police is engaged in investigation.
