There was a huge commotion at a bus stand in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning. Here a married woman was caught while trying to elope with her lover. After this incident, there was a public fight between the woman, her husband, mother-in-law and lover. People standing nearby made a video of this entire drama, which later went viral on social media. According to reports, the incident took place at Lalitpur bus stand around 10 am. Later the police reached the spot and took all the people involved to the Civil Lines police post for questioning.

The woman had run away from home with her lover
It is being told that this 25 year old woman lives in Jakhlaun area. He got married about two and a half years ago and has a child. According to local reports, the woman secretly left her in-laws’ house with her boyfriend, leaving her child at home. Both of them traveled about 22 kilometers and reached Lalitpur bus stand, from where they were reportedly planning to go to some other place. Later the woman’s family came to know about it. As soon as the information was received, her husband, mother-in-law and other relatives started chasing her and finally caught her at the bus stand.
Mother-in-law pulled boyfriend from the bus and beat him
Eyewitnesses and a video going viral online show that the woman’s mother-in-law grabbed her boyfriend’s collar and pulled him out of the bus. After this a heated debate started between both the sides. Within some time, the mother-in-law took out her slippers and started beating her lover in public. Reports claim that he hit her with slippers 51 times in about 140 seconds. During this time, a huge crowd gathered at the bus stand, while many people stood and kept making videos on their phones.

During the fight the woman tried to save her lover. Meanwhile, her husband allegedly grabbed her hair and beat her in front of everyone. The video also showed that she fell on the road during the scuffle.
The drama continued for about an hour
The commotion at the busy bus stand reportedly lasted for about an hour. Traffic and movement in the area was also affected due to the gathering of onlookers. Many passers-by made a video of this incident, which later went viral on social media platforms. On receiving information about the commotion, police officers reached the spot and brought the woman, her lover and in-laws to the Civil Lines police post. Officials are currently interrogating both parties about the incident. So far, no official information has been received about anyone’s arrest or legal action in this case.
