Now the woman has been convicted for this crime. The guilty woman may be sentenced to life imprisonment.
Earlier, the woman’s 35-year-old husband Dustin Joel Walker was found guilty of carrying out the horrific crime. Earlier this year, Dustin pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated battery against his daughter. After this the court sentenced him to 42 years of jail and then life imprisonment. Besides, he has also been declared a sex offender.
How was the dreadful incident exposed?
According to an NDTV report, the woman’s misdeeds in this case came to light when officials came to know that an 11-year-old girl had given birth to a child inside the house without any medical examination. Investigation found that the girl had not been taken to any doctor for more than a year. The DNA test made it clear that the father of the newborn was none other than the girl herself. Investigation has revealed that the girl was being exploited for about a year. At the same time, so that no one could understand this, his parents also removed him from school.
6 children lived in a dirty house without water
Gradually many layers were revealed in this case. According to the information, the condition of the house where this family lived was very pathetic. The rooms were full of filth. Six children lived in the house, but for the last 2 to 3 years there was not even water coming in the tap. The girl’s grandmother also lived in the house. At present, the jury in Muskogee County has found the 34-year-old accused mother guilty on six counts, including promoting child sexual abuse and being negligent in the case of children. The judge who gave the verdict in this case was also surprised to see this form of the couple. He said, “It broke my heart to know that a mere 11-year-old girl had given birth to a child… during this time neither did she get any medical support nor was there any caregiver present with her.” The administration has taken all the children present in the house under their protection.
