45 crores were spent on ‘Don 3’

According to reports, the shooting of ‘Don 3’ had not even started yet, but more than Rs 45 crore had been spent on the pre-production of the film. The producers allege that Ranveer Singh left the film at the last moment, due to which the entire project was affected. It is being told that Ranveer Singh cited the change in the script as the reason for leaving the film. Whereas Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani claim that the actor decided to finally exit the film in December last year after postponing the film several times.

FWICE’s decision – will not work with Ranveer Singh

FWICE Honorary General Secretary Ashok Dubey said in the press conference, “After today, we will not work with Ranveer Singh, be it a cameraman, spot boy, lightman or any member from our side. This non-cooperation will continue until the dispute is cleared. An artiste becomes an artiste because of the people. Technicians and the audience together make him a star. You leave a film on which people were working for three years. We had written to you. Wrote, but did not receive any response, so no FWICE member will work with you.

Superstar is not bigger than the system: FWICE

FWICE President BN Tiwari said that the federation always works in the interest of its workers, but if injustice is done to any manufacturer, the organization will support him. He said, “We want to send a message to the industry that no superstar is above the rules and system.” FWICE Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit claimed that Ranveer Singh had distanced himself from the film just three weeks before the shooting began. He said, “The filmmakers have suffered huge losses. They expressed their views before FWICE. The federation sent three notices to Ranveer Singh, but he did not consider it necessary to respond. We decided to issue non-cooperation instructions after the meeting of all the officials. This means that members associated with 38 departments of FWICE will not work on any of Ranveer Singh’s projects. In such a situation, shooting will not be possible.”

Ranveer Singh raised questions on the jurisdiction of FWICE

According to Ashok Pandit, as soon as the press conference was announced, an email was sent to FWICE on behalf of Ranveer Singh. He claimed that the actor wrote, “Your federation does not have jurisdiction over this entire matter, so there is no reason to get involved in this controversy.” Let us tell you that ‘Don 3’ was considered to be Farhan Akhtar’s comeback as a director. His last directorial venture was 2011’s ‘Don 2’, starring Shah Rukh Khan. The original ‘Don’ film was made in 1978, written by Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman in lead roles.
