Bhopal/Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his stay in Indore on June 18, reached the historical fort grounds and garlanded the statue of the brave queen Rani Laxmibai. On this occasion, he paid tribute to the great heroine of the freedom struggle on behalf of the grateful nation and remembered her unique contribution.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Rani Laxmibai’s courage, bravery and dedication towards the motherland will always remain a source of inspiration for the countrymen. He said that at an early age, Rani Lakshmibai had made the supreme sacrifice to protect the freedom and honor of the country. His life and struggle inspire every generation to move forward on the path of national service and self-respect.
Shramdaan done under Jal Ganga Enhancement Campaign
During his stay in Indore, the Chief Minister also participated in the Jal Ganga Augmentation Campaign being run with the aim of promoting water conservation. He gave the message of water conservation and environmental protection by donating labor in the pond of Limbodi area.
Inspection of ancient stepwell and service in cow shed
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached the ancient Shri Veergarhi Hanuman Temple and inspected the historical stepwell located there. Along with this, he went to the cowshed and fed fodder to the mother cow and stressed the need to preserve traditional cultural and religious heritage.
Government committed to preserving the legacy of freedom fighters
The Chief Minister said that the State Government is making continuous efforts to preserve the glorious history of freedom fighters, great men and nation builders. He said that the aim of the government is to spread the ideals and thoughts of these great personalities to every section of the society, so that the new generation can take inspiration from their lives.
Indore’s fort grounds, symbol of historical heritage
Dr. Yadav said that the historical fort ground of Indore is an important part of the rich cultural and historical heritage of the state. This place has witnessed the memories of many great heroes and historical events. He said that conservation and development of such historical places is our collective responsibility.
