Emphasis again on ‘work from home’
PM Modi also advised the use of electric vehicles (EVs). Also, he said that just as most people were working from home during the Corona period, in the same way emphasis should be given on WFH to save fuel and foreign money.

The PM said Indians should avoid buying non-essential gold for at least a year. If it is not very important then postpone the plan of buying gold for a year. India imports a large amount of gold, and this move will help reduce imports.
use less cooking oil
Apart from this, Modi has made a special appeal to the families. India also imports edible oil to a large extent from abroad. He said that if we reduce the use of oil in food, it will be good for our health and will also support the country’s economy.
Adopt ‘Made in India’ products
The Prime Minister has appealed to Indians to use products made in India. He said that in everyday items like shoes, slippers and bags, choose good quality local products instead of foreign brands.
For the farmers, he said that they should reduce the use of fertilizers and chemicals as much as possible. Use solar powered pump instead of diesel pump. Also, he has advised people to reduce foreign trips and visit tourist spots in India.
