In Nalanda, Bihar, a driver shot his assistant friend, after which he died during treatment. It is being told that first the driver called the helper from his house and then both of them drank heavily. After this the driver shot his helper. After being shot, the family took him to the hospital where he died during treatment. The deceased youth has been identified as Chandan Kumar.

The accused and Chandan lived in the same truck. There was a very deep friendship between the two. Both of them had come home on the occasion of Diwali, during which this incident happened.

Driver absconds after shooting assistant

It is being told about the incident that the accused has pressed the trigger jokingly. He understood that there was no bullet in the pistol. Thinking it was an empty pistol, he fired, but the pistol was loaded with two bullets; due to his intoxication, he did not understand this, after which he shot and killed him. The accused driver is absconding after the incident. The driver has been identified as Rakesh Bind, son of Ram Sevak Bind.

Police is investigating the matter

In this case, Chandi police station in-charge Ravindra Kumar told that both the driver and the attendant were friends. Both used to work together. Came home on the occasion of festival. Both of them drank alcohol on Sunday night. During this, the driver jokingly shot the passenger, mistaking it for an empty pistol. The family members of the deceased informed the police about the incident, after which the police reached the spot. The police took the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The accused is absconding after the incident, the police is conducting raids in search of the accused. Also, the police is making inquiries regarding the incident.
