This incident took place in Mohani village of Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. Some unknown thieves entered the house of YouTuber Rachna Gurjar in the early hours of Saturday. The thieves locked Rachna and her family in a room and stole gold and silver jewellery, cash and even a can of energy drink from the house. It is estimated that the total value of the stolen goods is between Rs 8 to 10 lakh.

According to the family, the thieves entered the house at around 2 in the morning, when everyone was sleeping. Rachna told, ‘They locked us in a room and committed theft. They took away gold and silver jewelery worth around Rs 8 to 10 lakh, cash and a box of energy drink. They also changed the angle of the CCTV cameras using a stick so that their faces were not recorded. A complaint has been lodged in this matter at Narwar Police Station.

The role of social media in this incident is also being investigated. Rachna has more than one lakh followers and had recently posted some videos in which she showed her house, jewelery and money. In a video, she was showing different parts of the house starting from the doors to the rooms. In another video, she showed her valuables, including jewelery and cash, placed on the table.

The family discovered the theft around 4 a.m. when they found that they had been locked from outside. He called his relatives, who came and opened the door. Shivpuri’s Additional SP Sanjeev Mule has confirmed the robbery and said that a case has been registered.
