MI all-rounder Mitchell Santner ruled out of IPL 2026, Keshav Maharaj named as replacement

New Delhi: Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Mitchell Santner has been ruled out of the IPL 2026 due to a right shoulder injury. The New Zealander first sustained a niggle to his non-bowling shoulder while fielding during the match against Delhi Capitals on April 4, and didn’t feature in the next match against RR on April 7.

He played two matches against RCB (April 12) and GT (April 20) after that, but suffered another injury on the same shoulder while fielding during the game against CSK on April 23. He has picked up five wickets in four matches so far.

MI sign Keshav Maharaj as replacement
