Contestant Preet Singh, who participated in MTV Splitsvilla Season 16, has shared a video on her Instagram, in which she has revealed a disturbing incident. Preet alleged that he was assaulted in a club in Mumbai, due to which one of his teeth was broken and his eyes became swollen.
Injuries seen in Instagram video
Preet Singh shared a video of his face and showed a close-up of his swollen eyes. She wrote in the caption that she had always heard that Mumbai was a safe city for girls, but she never thought that her experience would be like this. She said she is still shivering, her eyes are swollen and there are bruises on her face and she is trying to understand what happened to her.
How did the dispute escalate in the club?
Describing the incident of that night, Preet said that she was sitting in the club with her friend, when suddenly a girl started shouting and questioned how she was allowed to come inside. Initially it was just an argument, but soon things turned violent. A friend of that girl intervened and beat up Preet and his friend. According to Preet, he was hit so hard that one of his teeth was broken and his face was swollen. Later, people intervened and pacified the matter.
Mention of ‘influencer’, but name not disclosed
After the incident, Preet came to know that the girl who caused the argument calls herself an ‘influencer’. However, Preet Singh has not revealed the name of that person in his post. He said that he is still shocked as to how such an incident could happen so openly and this should not happen to anyone.

After this incident, other contestants of MTV Splitsvilla Season 16 and their friends supported him. Zalak Gohil said that night was like a nightmare and it took courage for Preet to speak openly about what she endured. Ruru Thakur called it very wrong and asked Preet to take care of herself. Himanshu Arora also supported him and said that he is with him whenever needed.
