From April 08, a new western disturbance is likely to come in western Himalayan regions. Because of this, there is a possibility of light and moderate rainfall with strong winds in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during 09-11 April.
During the next 3 days, the maximum temperature in many parts of Maharashtra can see an increase of 2-3 degrees Celsius. According to IMD, despite the formation of a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there is a dry season in some districts of Odisha. However, in some districts, the maximum temperature is expected to increase by about two-four degrees Celsius.

There is a possibility of heat stroke in Saurashtra and Kutch, Eastern Rajasthan in Gujarat during 08-09 April. In Rajasthan, the maximum temperature of Barmer was recorded at 45.6 degrees Celsius on Monday, which is 6.8 degrees above normal. At the same time, the maximum temperature in Chittorgarh was recorded at 44.4 degrees.
