A case of giving triple talaq to a Muslim woman has come to light in Tipinagar police station area of ​​Meerut district. The victim woman alleges that her husband was pressurizing her to leave him by taking Rs 1.5 lakh. When she refused to leave her husband after taking Rs 1.5 lakh, he gave triple talaq in the Bhari Panchayat and ran away. The victim woman alleges that the police is not taking any action in this matter.

Ruby, a resident of Islamnagar, Maliana, told that she was married to Ashraf, a resident of Ghaziabad, four years ago. The woman alleges that her in-laws used to harass her for dowry ever since her marriage. Due to this, she had filed a case of dowry harassment against her husband and other in-laws.

Husband gave triple talaq in Bhari Panchayat

The victim woman Ruby says that on January 15, relatives called a panchayat at her house. In the Panchayat, husband Ashraf pressured Ruby to leave herself by taking Rs 1.5 lakh, but Ruby did not agree and remained adamant on staying with her husband. After Ruby did not agree, the husband gave her triple talaq in Ashraf Bhari Panchayat and went away with his family.

Police is not taking any action

The victim alleges that she has approached the authorities several times regarding this matter, but no one is listening to her. Every time he walks away by saying that he will take action. TP Nagar Inspector Jitendra Singh says that the victim woman had come to the police station. On the complaint of the woman, the outpost in-charge has been ordered to investigate and take action.
