Job was available in 2022
He has been doing this work for the last 4 months. Fulfilling his duty as a teacher, Amit spends his day among the children in Babupur School of the district and works from 5 pm to midnight to deliver food of people’s choice to their homes. Teacher is getting 8 thousand salary
A wave of happiness ran in the family. Amit told that I had given the exam in 2019. The result came in February 2020 and I was selected. Got 74 marks out of 100. I was very happy, the family also thought that now that I have got a government job, the financial condition of our family will be better. Amit told that earlier I was also working in a private school. I lost my job during the Covid period. After two and a half years I got a government job, but the salary was only Rs 8 thousand.
Government did not increase salary
This job was tagged as part time. This meant not having to stay long in school. Initially, we worked full time and motivated the children to participate in sports and win medals, but even after two and a half years, the government has not increased our salaries nor is the government conducting eligibility tests. In such a situation, our lives are in trouble. The old teachers in the school are getting a salary of Rs 42 thousand. At the same time, our salary is only Rs 8 thousand.
Teacher is working as a food delivery boy
Amit further says that he did not receive salary for 4 months after February. Took a loan from friends, which was gradually increasing. I then searched for part-time work on my wife’s advice. On the internet I came to know that one can work as a food delivery boy. There is no time limit in this, so I created an ID on it and started working. After returning from school, I work as a food delivery boy in Zomato from 5 pm to 1 am.
Due to my salary of Rs 8,000, I am not able to expand my family. I wonder what I will feed my future generations when I am unable to meet my own needs. I got married only two and a half years before I got the job.
