The operational manager of a private bank in Shajapur accused accountant Shivam of rape, assault and threats on the pretext of marriage. The police have registered an FIR and started searching for the accused.
Shajapur Bank Manager Rape Case: A very surprising and disturbing case has come to light from Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh. Little did a 28-year-old operational manager, holding a senior position in a private bank, know that a person working in her office would make her life hell. In the year 2025, the victim was working in a bank branch in Shajapur, where she met Shivam, an accountant of the bank. During their daily work, the acquaintance between the two increased and within no time this acquaintance turned into friendship. The cunning accountant Shivam had completely trapped the victim in his love trap with his sweet words.
‘I will die without you’: That first crime and the hollow web of oaths
Accused Shivam expressed his love to the victim to such an extent that she could not understand his intentions. Shivam often used to say, “I cannot live without you, I love you only and will marry you only.” Trapped in this false trust and promise of marriage, the victim had physical relations with the accused for the first time on 25 August 2025. After this it seemed as if an endless series of torture started. The accused continued to physically exploit the victim on the pretext of marriage, but whenever the victim talked about fixing the date of marriage, the accused used to hesitate.
Beating and abuses for protesting: Horrible torture started on weekends
After some time, accused Shivam was transferred to another district, but the troubles for the victim did not reduce. He used to come back to Shajapur every weekend (Saturday-Sunday). The victim alleges that despite several refusals, Shivam would forcefully enter her house and have physical relations while beating and abusing her. Whenever the victim tried to register her protest, she was brutally beaten in a closed room and threatened with death. Even after transfer, he used to talk obscenely through phone calls and messages and used to mentally harass her continuously.
‘Your caste is different’: When the mask of love came off
The biggest twist in this horrifying story came when the victim applied pressure for marriage for the last time. Shivam, who was pretending to be in love till then, suddenly showed his true nature and put forward the excuse of caste. He clearly said, “You and I have different castes, I cannot marry you.” The limit was reached when the victim talked to the accused’s father, but he also denied the relationship citing a different caste. The victim has made a serious allegation in her complaint that Shivam had full knowledge of her belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) from the beginning, yet he deliberately trapped her and later mentally and socially humiliated her by saying caste related words.
Accused absconding as soon as FIR was registered: Police teams are raiding
Fed up with this mental and physical torture, the victimized operational manager finally gathered courage and appealed for justice at the Kotwali police station of Shajapur. On the complaint of the victim, the Kotwali police have registered a case against the accused Shivam under serious sections of rape, brutal assault, abusive language and SC/ST Act. The police administration is thoroughly investigating this matter. However, as soon as the accused Shivam came to know that an FIR had been registered against him, he immediately absconded. Special police teams are continuously raiding possible locations to arrest him.
