Reflecting on the event, Bezzecchi expressed genuine satisfaction with his achievement: “I am very happy, very satisfied, because it was a tough but magnificent weekend. I’m thrilled to have secured my first podium here.” The Italian rider acknowledged his previous struggles at this circuit but praised the team’s hard work that enabled him to finally master the track.
A highlight of the race was Bezzecchi’s intense battle on the long straight with Marc Márquez, where both riders reached speeds in excess of 320 km/h. “With Marc, it was nice! I heard his bike at Turn 15, so I tried to cut across his line,” Bezzecchi recounted. “When we got really close, the slipstreams from our bikes pushed us strongly towards each other. It was strange but fun.” Despite this thrilling duel, Bezzecchi conceded Márquez’s superior speed and experience made him unbeatable that day.
Bezzecchi also lamented losing a position immediately to Pedro Acosta, reflecting, “It’s a shame to have lost my position straight away to Pedro. I think I would have probably lost it anyway, but I would have liked to fight a bit longer.” Nonetheless, the Aprilia rider remained upbeat about his performance and the progress of his season.
