Recently, the relationship which started after her engagement with Shahjahan, a tech professional working in Bengaluru, suddenly turned into tension. According to initial reports, everything was normal between the two, but within a few weeks, things changed completely. In the 12-page suicide note left behind by Rehana, she has made many serious allegations, the most prominent of which is that her fiance was emotionally distant and directly told her “there are no feelings”.

According to police sources, in the note Rehana has written in detail how Shahjahan’s behavior changed after the engagement. She claimed that she was constantly mentally harassed and pressurized to break the marriage. The note also mentions that Shahjahan had relationships with other women in the past, which further increased his mental stress. The family alleges that all this together led Rehana into deep depression, after which she took suicidal steps.

Big twist in police investigation: three arrests
The police took swift action in the case and arrested Shahjahan and his parents. A case of abetment to suicide has been registered against him. All the accused have been produced in the court and sent to judicial custody.
