In a heroic act, Woman Constable Manshida Banu from Kadri Police Station transported a severely injured man to the hospital on her scooter following a road accident in Mangaluru.
The accident, which occurred around 3:40 AM on 23rd Oct 2024 near KPT, involved a collision between a pickup vehicle and a container truck. The cleaner of one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries and was lying in a pool of blood.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Constable Manshida rushed to the scene and, without delay, transported the injured man to a nearby private hospital on her scooter, displaying remarkable promptness and courage.
Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal commended the constable for her swift action via a post on the official ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) account of the commissionerate.
