Farrukhabad (Uttar Pradesh): A shocking video of a youth hanging on the exterior side of the window of a speeding train is making rounds on the internet. The video of the man performing dangerous stunt on the train and hanging while holding the hand of another passenger has gone viral on social media. Luckily, a major mishap was averted as the train stopped after travelling for some time and the man was able to get down without hurting himself severely. However, the stunt could have have been fatal if the train did not stop or the man would have fallen from the speeding train.
The undated viral video is reportedly from Uttar Pradesh (UP) and the train is said it be travelling from Kasganj to Kanpur. In the video, the man is seen hanging from outside of a train, holding another passenger’s hand.
In the 1:10 seconds long video the youth is seen holding the hand of a fellow passenger for 56-seconds and hanging on the outside of the speeding train, suddenly the train stops, possibly because someone pulled the chain and the youth falls down and hurts himself. Soon he gets up and gets into the train.
Police Action
ADG zone Kanpur on micro-blogging website X tagged Government Railway Police UP (GRP) and directed them to look into the matter. After which GRP UP tagged SP GRP Agra and directed to look into the matter.
SP GRP Agra promptly responded and said that GRP Farrukhabad police station was directed to take necessary action. However, there are no reports of any police action in the matter.
