Mangaluru (Karnataka) [भारत]July 13 (ANI): As part of the ongoing crackdown against illegal immigrants, the Mangaluru City Police has detained 11 Bangladeshi nationals. These people were found working at two different construction sites within the limits of Urwa police station.

Confirming the incident, Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Reddy said that of those detained, three were from one site and eight from another site. The police commissioner said, “A report will be sent to the FRRO for orders for his detention and deportation. The process of collecting documents is underway.”
The police commissioner further said, “A case will be registered against the middleman from West Bengal who brought them to work here along with some Indian laborers from other states of India.” Further information is awaited. (ANI)
