The partition-era romance drama Main Vaapas Aaunga is making history with its powerful comeback at the box office despite a slow start. The film starring Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, Sharvari, and Naseeruddin Shah, with strong word-of-mouth since its release, turned the first-week disappointment into a success in the second week, helping the film grow.
And now, as the third week starts, the old-school romance is inching closer to 40 crore net on its day 15 (Third Friday), earning an impressive 2.85 crore, with a slight rise in collections compared to day 14’s 2.35 crore.
India Net Collection: As per the Sacnilk reports, the Imtiaz Ali-directed film in its first 15 days has reached the net India total of 37.65 crore.
India Gross Collection: In contrast, the gross India total is at 44.85 crore.
Overseas Total: On day 15, the film earned 0.25 crore in overseas markets, which takes the gross overseas total to 13.80 crore.
Worldwide Gross Collection: With gross India and overseas gross collection, the worldwide gross total stands at 58.65 crore, missing the 60 crore mark by a minor margin.
