Even after 6 days of the results of assembly elections in Maharashtra, the government formation is stuck. Suspense continues regarding the formation of the grand alliance government. Meanwhile, on Saturday, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has fiercely attacked Mahayuti over the delay in government formation in Maharashtra.
Uddhav Thackeray claimed that the parties involved in the ruling grand alliance had never thought that they would come to power again. That is why there is a delay in government formation in Maharashtra. Hours after Thackeray’s comment, BJP announced the date of formation of the new grand alliance government. The new grand alliance government will take oath on the evening of December 5 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Azad Maidan in Mumbai.
He did not have a plan as to who would be the CM- Uddhav
Uddhav Thackeray said this while meeting social activist Dr Baba Aadhav, who was protesting against the alleged misuse of EVMs and money power in the assembly elections. Thackeray, sitting next to Aadhav, asked why there was no celebration after the grand victory of the Mahayuti alliance. At the same time, Aadhav ended his agitation by accepting a glass of water from Thackeray’s hands.
Former Chief Minister Thackeray said, ‘When Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was formed, President’s rule was in force. This time no one has claimed to form the government, yet there is no President’s rule. He said that the Mahayuti allies never thought that they would come to power again, so they had no plan as to who would be the Chief Minister, who would be the ministers. This is why government formation is taking time.
