Mahtari Vandan Yojana 29th Installment Released: The 29th installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana has been released in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai transferred Rs 626.25 crore through DBT to the bank accounts of more than 66 lakh women. Know the details.

Mahtari Vandan 29th Kist: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai released the 29th installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana from the Chief Minister’s Residence Office in the capital Raipur. During this period, an amount of Rs 626.25 crore was sent through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the bank accounts of more than 66 lakh eligible mothers and sisters of the state. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade was also present on this occasion.

Mahatari Vandan Yojana Benefits: Big step towards respect and self-reliance of women

While congratulating all the beneficiary women, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that Mahtari Vandan Yojana has now become a strong medium for women’s respect, economic self-reliance and self-reliance. He said that the state government is continuously working with the aim of increasing the economic participation of women and empowering them at every level. The Chief Minister said that with the release of the 29th installment, a total amount of Rs 18,805.83 crore has been sent directly to the bank accounts of women through DBT under the scheme. Due to this, lakhs of families are getting regular financial assistance.

Chhattisgarh Government Scheme: Positive change visible in the lives of women

The Chief Minister said that the campaign for the empowerment of women power is being run across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Chhattisgarh government is carrying forward the same resolution with full commitment. He said that during his visit to various districts, a large number of women told him that the monthly assistance received from Mahtari Vandan Yojana has brought positive changes in their lives. Many women have started small businesses with this amount. Some women have taken up tailoring and other self-employment avenues, while many families are using this amount for children’s education, health, nutrition and meeting daily needs. The Chief Minister said that these experiences of women are a clear proof of the success of this scheme and its positive impact on the society.

Lakhpati Didi Yojana: Government’s focus on increasing women’s income

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is making continuous efforts to increase the income of women and make them economically strong through schemes like Mahtari Vandan Yojana as well as ‘Lakhpati Didi’. He instructed the officials that the process of e-KYC should be completed as soon as possible so that the benefits of the scheme can reach all the eligible women on time. Instructions were also given to complete this work on priority, especially in Bastar division.

Mahatari Vandan Yojana Eligibility: Assistance of Rs 1000 is being provided every month through the scheme.

It is noteworthy that Mahtari Vandan Yojana is applicable in the state from March 1, 2024. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1,000 is sent directly into their bank accounts every month to eligible married women aged 21 years and above. Women are getting regular financial support through this scheme. Along with this, activities like family nutrition, children’s education, health services, prevention of malnutrition and anemia and self-employment have also got new strength. The aim of the state government is that the benefits of this scheme should reach every eligible woman of the state in a transparent and time bound manner, so that the economic and social empowerment of women continues to be strengthened.
