Eknath Shinde’s stake on Thackeray faction

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that in the last two and a half years, the Mahayati government worked to make people’s lives golden. On the one hand, the schemes of development and on the other hand public welfare schemes were done by the government to coordinate both of them, due to which the people of the state gave a historic victory in the assembly elections. Taking a dig at the Thackeray faction, he said that we won 60 seats by contesting 80 seats, while some people contested 100 seats and won only 20 seats.

‘We replied not by allegations but from development work’

Shinde further said that it shows which is the real Shiv Sena? The public has approved this. Targeting the Uddhav faction, he said that we have given a befitting reply to his allegations, not from the charge but from development works. Balasaheb Thackeray always used to say that power keeps on coming, but the name should not go. We have done the work of hinging that name. Shinde said that according to the views of Balasaheb and Dharamvir Anand Dighe, his government is working.

He further said that we started doing the works that should have been done in Mumbai 10 to 20 years ago in the last two and a half years. Atal Setu, Costal Road was constructed in Mumbai. Balasaheb Thackeray started his dispensary. Insurance security was increased from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh under Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Public Health Scheme. He said that our government is a working government. This is the working Shiv Sena. Shinde said that our sign is a bow and arrow. The bow-arrow and the saffron flag are our faith, breathing and pride.
