Only a few days are left for Maharashtra Assembly elections. In such a situation, all the parties have started campaigning vigorously. Meanwhile, all the BJP leaders have expressed their displeasure over giving ticket to NCP’s Nawab Malik of Ajit faction, who is part of Mahayuti. BJP chief Ashish Shelar says that NCP chief Ajit Pawar should not have been given ticket to Nawab Malik in view of the serious allegations against him. Shelar said that BJP cannot associate with such people.
During an interview, Shelar said that many people in Maharashtra think that there are serious allegations against Nawab Malik which are unacceptable for Maharashtra. He said that BJP has made its stand clear. Maharashtra opposes international terrorists like Dawood. Despite this, if they have been given tickets then BJP cannot associate with such people nor will the party campaign for them. Shelar also said that BJP will support the candidate standing against Nawab Malik.
Kirit Somaiya called Nawab Malik a terrorist
Earlier, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya had targeted NCP. He had criticized the ticket being given to Nawab Malik. Somaiya had described Nawab Malik as a terrorist and said that he has tried to break the country, he is related to Dawood Ibrahim and he is Dawood’s agent. Along with this, the BJP leader also said that Ajit Pawar has betrayed the country by giving ticket to Malik.
Nawab Malik is the candidate from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar seat.
Ajit Pawar’s party had approved the candidature of Nawab Malik shortly before the end of the nomination period. The party has made him its candidate from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar seat. While on one hand BJP is opposing him, on the other hand Nawab Malik has started his election campaign, ignoring all these things. Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar seat Nawab Malik is contesting against Samajwadi Party candidate Abu Asim Azmi. Who has been MLA from this seat thrice and is contesting for the fourth time.
Nawab Malik’s target on Samajwadi Party
Meanwhile, Nawab Malik has opened a front against Azmi and has started campaigning. He has shared a video on social media, through which he has targeted the Samajwadi Party. Some people are visible in the video. There is a picture of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav on the wall. In the caption of the video, Malik cautioned the people and wrote that be careful, released in public interest. Keep your children away from SP. SP office has become a den of drugs.
If we talk about Maharashtra Assembly elections, voting will be held in a single phase on 20th November. And counting of votes will take place on November 23. BJP is currently in alliance with Ajit Pawar-led NCP and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena under the banner of Mahayuti, while Mahavikas Aghadi includes Congress, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena and Sharad Pawar’s party NCP-SP.
