Crores of rupees have been recovered from the Innova car of Sanjay Nirupam, the candidate of Eknath Shinde group from Goregaon East Dindoshi Assembly.
It is being told that this Innova car was parked in front of Mantri Park Society, from which the money has been recovered. The police have seized the car and taken it to the police station. There was a sticker of Shinde group leader on this car. At present, the police is investigating this entire matter and trying to find out whose money was recovered from the vehicle and for what purpose this amount was kept before the elections.
Vinod Tawde accused of distributing money
Earlier on Tuesday, Vinod Tawde was accused of distributing money. There was a huge uproar regarding this matter. Hujan Vikas Aghadi workers have accused Tawde of bringing Rs 5 crore and distributing the money. However, Vinod Tawde has vehemently denied these allegations. He said that the Election Commission should investigate this entire matter, CCTV should be checked, after which the truth will be revealed to everyone. He said that a meeting of MLAs of Nalasopara was to be held. Therefore, he had come to this meeting to explain the model code of conduct, method of sealing the voting machine etc.
Officials of Rohit Pawar’s company were caught
An officer of Sharad Pawar’s grandson Rohit Pawar’s company Baramati Agro was caught distributing money to Mohite. It is being told that Mohite was distributing notes to woo voters in Satara Karjat Jamkhed Assembly. During this time he was caught. Police have also recovered a list from Mohite. This list had complete information as to how many people have been given money so far and how many people have to give it.
