Maharashtra: Dhananjay Munde did not go to Ajit Pawar’s Beed tour due to ‘Health’, former minister appeared in Mumbai’s fashion show

Every day something new happens in the politics of Maharashtra. Now there is a discussion on Dhananjay Munde in the political corridors there. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Dhananjay Munde, who did not attend the Beed tour of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday citing health reasons but, he attended a fashion show held in a hotel in Mumbai a day earlier.

According to sources associated with NCP, Dhananjay Munde and his wife Rajshree attended this fashion show program on Tuesday night, during which his daughter Vaishnavi also attended it.

Talked about Mumbai for treatment

Earlier in the day, Dhananjay Munde posted a post on the social media platform x, stating that he could not attend Ajit Pawar’s official tour in Beed due to health concerns and he is undergoing treatment in Mumbai.

Munde wrote, “I had to be fully present with him during the Beed tour of Deputy Chief Minister and Patron Minister Ajit Pawar. However, my health deteriorated a bit, so I had to come to Mumbai for treatment on Tuesday.”

The former minister said that he had already informed the party leadership. He said, “I request that there should be no confusion about this matter.”

Had to resign due to murder case

Former Bed’s Conservator Minister Dhananjay Munde resigned from the post of minister after widespread resentment in the state for the murder of Masajog’s sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh last December. Controversy arose after pictures and videos related to the charge sheet related to the case went viral.

Valmik Karad, a close associate of Munde in the kidnapping and murder of Santosh Deshmukh, has been made the main accused. So far 8 people have been arrested in this murder case, while the ninth accused is absconding.
