Devendra Fadnavis Swearing-in ceremony LIVE: Mahayuti government will be formed in Maharashtra today. Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as CM. Apart from this, two Deputy CMs will also take oath. There was a struggle going on for the last several days regarding CM face. This came to a halt yesterday i.e. on Wednesday. Fadnavis was elected the leader of the legislative party. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Azad Maidan in Mumbai at 5.30 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and many senior BJP leaders will participate in the eclipse ceremony. Apart from this, Chief Ministers of 19 states will also participate. Around 40 thousand people are likely to participate in this function. Elections were held in Maharashtra in a single phase on 20 November and the results were declared on 23 November. Mahayuti had won a landslide victory in the elections. BJP emerged as the largest party with 132 seats. Apart from this, Shinde’s Shiv Sena got 57 seats and Ajit Pawar’s NCP got 41 seats.
