Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: The campaign phase in Maharashtra Assembly elections has ended after 6 pm on Monday. The main contest in the state is between the ruling Mahayuti and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance. At the same time, for the first time after the dissolution, both the factions of Nationalist Congress Party and Shiv Sena will try their luck in this assembly elections.
Campaigning for the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra on November 20 has come to a halt. At the same time, after the implementation of the code of conduct, a vigorous campaign was launched by the political parties. Maximum 172 meetings were held by BJP in this election. Congress held 154 public meetings and road shows, while NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) party held a total of 101 meetings.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that he held more than 75 meetings and meetings in total. NCP (Ajit) chief Ajit Pawar held 50 meetings and visited 70 villages in this election. After CN Shinde, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari held the maximum number of personal meetings in the Maharashtra elections, he held a total of 72 meetings while BJP leader and state Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis held a total of 64 meetings.
PM Modi held 9 meetings while CM Yogi held 11 meetings.
In Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a total of 9 meetings for his party. During this period he covered 106 assembly seats of the state. At the same time, Amit Shah held 16 meetings. Whereas Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has held 11 meetings. At the same time, if we talk about the star campaigners of Congress, then in this election party president Mallikarjun Kharge addressed 9 meetings and 4 press conferences. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi held 7 meetings and 1 press conference while Priyanka Gandhi held a total of 3 meetings and one road show.
At the same time, Maharashtra Congress state president Nana Patole held the maximum number of 65 meetings. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed 7 meetings, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressed 4 meetings and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar addressed 5 meetings. According to this list, 17 meetings were organized by Sachin Pilot and 31 meetings were organized by Imran Pratapgarhi. At the same time, Sharad Pawar, who is part of MVA, addressed 55 meetings while his daughter Supriya Sule addressed a total of 46 election rallies.
Along with Mahayuti, MVA, 152 small parties are also in the fray.
Voting for the Maharashtra Assembly elections will be held on November 20 for 288 assembly seats in the state. Whereas its results will be released on 23 November. This time in the election battle of Maharashtra, a total of 152 small parties are also in the fray along with Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (Sharad Pawar) in Mahayuti (BJP, NCP (Ajit), Shiv Sena) and MVA. Apart from all these parties, 2086 independent candidates are also contesting.

Whereas, if we talk about parties alone, then Bahujan Samajwadi Party is contesting the maximum number of 237 seats. BJP has fielded its candidates on 149 seats, Congress on 101, NCP (Ajit) on 59, NCP (Shardchand Pawar) on 86 seats, Shiv Sena (Shinde) on 81 seats while Shiv Sena (UBT) has fielded its candidates on a total of 95 seats. Apart from this, MNS has fielded its candidates on 125 seats and AIMIM has fielded its candidates on a total of 17 seats.
