Preparations are in full swing for organizing the upcoming Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Prayag has been said to be the giver of religion, artha, kama and moksha. To take care of the health of the devotees coming from India and abroad for Mahakumbh. Where specialist doctors from AIIMS Rae Bareli and Army Hospital are being deployed.
Senior Medical Officer Dr. Gaurav Dubey, who is handling the responsibility of this hospital, said that there are strong preparations to ensure that the devotees coming to Mahakumbh do not face any kind of problem. The 100-bed hospital at the parade ground has been almost 70 percent completed. He said that doctors will be deployed here 24 hours a day during the fair.
There will also be 8 small hospitals with special facilities
Dr. Gaurav Dubey said that during the fair, facilities will be available according to the capacity of OPD. In this, separate wards are being prepared for men, women and children. He said that apart from this, maternity room, emergency ward and doctor’s room are also being built. Besides, there will be special arrangements for investigation here.
He told that along with this, 8 small hospitals of 20 beds each with special facilities are also being prepared. Two ICUs of 10 beds each are being built by the Army Hospital in Mela area and Arail. Where all kinds of facilities will be provided to the devotees. At the same time, AIIMS Rae Bareli will build a 10-bed ICU in the 25-bed hospital of Jhunsi.
Maha Kumbh Mela will run from 13 January to 26 February
Dr. Gaurav Dubey said that 24-hour health care facilities for patients will be available at all these places. Apart from this, two hospitals have also been arranged for the prevention of infectious diseases. Where specialist doctors will be deployed. Mahakumbh is organized every 12 years in Prayagraj. This time the Maha Kumbh Mela will run from 13 January to 26 February i.e. Mahashivratri.
