With the announcement of the new executive in Madhya Pradesh Congress, differences in the state leadership have come to the fore. As soon as the executive was announced after 10 months, the leaders started accusing each other. Ajay Singh, senior party leader and son of former Chief Minister Arjun Singh, has openly expressed his displeasure with Rahul Bhaiya about the new executive.
He not only made allegations but also attacked many senior leaders without naming them and also accused the party of discriminating against the Vindhya region.
The responsibility lies with those who caused the plight
Angered by the formation of the executive, Ajay Singh, without taking his name, targeted Digvijay Singh and said that even today the executive is being formed on the instructions of the leaders due to whom Congress is in this plight in the state. What would be more unfortunate than this? It has been 20 years since the party was out of power, yet decisions are being taken at the behest of these people. What can I say if the leaders because of whom Madhya Pradesh is in this condition are still in power?
Discrimination against Vindhya region
Rahul Bhaiya alleged that there has been discrimination against Vindhya region in the executive formation. The executive has been formed after 10 months, but still no balance has been maintained in it. If you see, there are only 2-3 names which come from Vindhya region and no one else.
The Congress leader said that there are 9 districts in Vindhya region. If the party does not pay attention here, Congress will not be strong in the state. He also raised objection on the inclusion of MLAs in the executive and said that will the MLAs give time to the organization or to their assembly? Questioned how many people are there who will fully work for the organization.
Jitu Patwari had announced his team
State Congress President Jitu Patwari on Saturday had announced the executive in the state after 10 months. 177 members have been given place in the team. Opposition had started since the list came out. It was alleged that people close to Digvijay Singh have been given a place in it, because many leaders who were from his camp were included.
Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s son Nakul Nath was also not given a place in the executive. However, many senior leaders of the state including Kamal Nath were given a place in the team.
