
Home Minister Amit Shah is currently on a two -day visit to Madhya Pradesh. During his visit, he will attend the Foundation Day Parade of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Thursday as the chief guest. The program is part of the 86th Foundation Day celebrations of CRPF.
CRPF Day is celebrated every year on March 19 as the then Home Minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel flagged the force in 1950. It states that this year the parade is being organized as part of the expanded ceremony on 17 April.

Home Minister Amit Shah reached Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday on a two -day visit. Shah reached Neemuch in the evening on 16 April. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav welcomed him warmly. Home Minister Amit Shah and CM Mohan Yadav will reach CRPF parade ground on April 17 at 8 am. Here he will take part in the parade organized under the Rising Day program and take a salute.
An official said that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also be present with Amit Shah on this occasion. The ‘Crown Representative Police’ was established on 27 July 1939 during British rule in Neemuch, which was named by Home Minister Patel on 28 December 1949.
CRPF played an important role
The CRPF has played a strong role on several fronts from the integration of princely states to internal security, antiquism-attentive campaigns, international peace installation, VIP security and disaster management. After this, many soldiers will be honored in this ceremony and they will be appreciated for the sacrifice given for their country.
8 troops will parade
In this ceremony, 8 pieces of CRPF will parade. After the parade, Home Minister CRPF will honor the Bravery Award Medal to the Jawans. He will also pay tribute to the martyrs of force at the ‘martyr site’ and will talk to the families of the martyrs, parade commanders and soldiers.
