Madhuri Dixit Reveals Sons Are Her ‘Biggest Critics’; Recalls Fun Question Asked By Them – EXCLUSIVE

Madhuri Dixit is coming up with a new film,   with Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film is releasing on Netflix on June 4, 2026. Ahead of its release,   Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga exclusively joined Zoom for a fan club session, in which they opened up about their film, journey and life. Madhuri Dixit confessed that her sons are the biggest critics of her life. She also recalled how a fun question by her children left her in splits. Madhuri further revealed that she is grounded because of her parents.

During a candid chat with us, Madhuri Dixit Nene confessed that her sons were never interested to watch her films until they enter the college. Madhuri said, “My kids were never interested in seeing what I do before. They have hardly seen any of my films growing up. After they went to college and met Indian friends who told them about my films, my sons would come and ask, ‘Why didn’t I show those films to us?’ They are my critics. They praise me and also criticise my work.”

“They wonder, how did I do emotional scenes at home? They even told me, ‘I don’t do such things at home.’ I was like, ‘Thanks to your stars, I never do that at home,” the Khalnayak actress added.

Madhuri Dixit ruled the 90s with her powerful performance. When asked how she managed to stay grounded despite tasting success at a very young age. The Anjaam actress stated, “I thank my family. My parents never treat me like a star at home. My mom would scold me for not doing my house chores properly. They kept me real. They would always say, ‘You might be an actor outside, but at home, you are our daughter Madhuri.’ I never took my image seriously.”
