- Patel said, “Regarding the incident that happened yesterday in Lucknow, before that there was also an incident in a hotel in Delhi. And a year ago there was an incident due to water logging in a coaching center in Delhi. In view of these incidents, we have fielded our team today. We have checked the coaching centre. We are also checking the emergency exit gate.”
- He further added, “One of the major problems we have seen is that of ventilation. We are specifically checking the ventilation with respect to the hoardings put up outside. This is our first inspection of a coaching centre. Apart from MP Nagar, we will also form teams to inspect Bairagarh and Kolar. The main issue here is ventilation, and the emergency exit arrangements are inadequate. Their fire safety system was working; only about ventilation. Problem found.
