Kamal Haasan Has Been Ruling Films For Six Decades
Despite his remarkable career, Kamal Haasan does not appear interested in focusing too much on his accomplishments. In an interview with PTI, when he was asked whether he ever felt like looking back at his achievements and telling himself, “well done Kamal”, the actor offered a philosophical response. Kamal Haasan quoted his favourite writer, Jayakanthan, who compared success to reaching the summit of Mount Everest. He said that once a person reaches the top, they should not remain there because doing so leaves no room for others to climb. The actor also said that remaining “at the top can become lonely”.

Kamal Haasan’s filmography includes acclaimed works such as Apoorva Raagangal, Nayakan, Thevar Magan, Sadma, Pushpak Vimana and Chachi 420.
Even after more than six decades in the industry, Kamal Haasan continues to remain active. His upcoming acting projects include Kalki 2, in which he is expected to reprise his role as Supreme Yaskin. The film directed by Nag Ashwin stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan as well. Kamal Haasan will also be seen in his maiden project with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar that will reunite him with his friend and colleague Rajinikanth after 46 years. He is also reportedly set to work with director SU Arun Kumar on an upcoming project. Meanwhile, his production banner Raaj Kamal Films International will produce Sivakarthikeyan’s Seyon, Rajinikanth’s 173rd film Dharman and RK X KH.
