The latest buzz in Tollywood circles is that Sai Durgha Tej’s ambitious Sambarala Yeti Gattu (SYG) is gearing up to enter the Sankranthi 2027 race.
Industry reports suggest that producer Niranjan Reddy and his team are considering January 12, 2027, for the film’s grand theatrical release, though an official announcement is still awaited.
Interestingly, the date carries a strong sentiment for the producers. Their previous blockbuster Hanu-Man also released on January 12 during the Sankranthi season and went on to create box-office history.
Now, the team appears keen on returning to the same festival window with SYG.
The Sankranthi 2027 race is expected to be crowded, but the makers seem confident about their film. Sai Durgha Tej’s rugged transformation, grand visuals, massive action sequences and the film’s pan-India presentation have already generated curiosity.
Mounted on a huge scale, Sambarala Yeti Gattu is currently in the final stages of production.
