Lokbandhu Hospital Fire: Death of a patient, left the village home in panic, how are the situation now?

There was a stir in the Lokbandhu Hospital in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Monday night. After the incident, people gathered to save the hospitalized patients. Timardars, health workers, police and firefighters took out all the patients out of the hospital with hard work. Meanwhile, people remained in panic after seeing the increasing form of fire. A patient is said to have died in the fire incident.

Electricity of the hospital premises was cut to ensure that the scope of the fire did not increase. People were seen helping each other in the light of mobile flashlight. The fire affected three wards of the hospital, including the ICU. All patients have been safely referred to other hospitals nearby. There is silence in the hospital on Tuesday morning. The causes of the fire and the damage caused by it are being reviewed.

The villagers who were in panic, came out of the houses and came on the streets

There was a stampede among people to avoid flames and smoke. Not only this, the people of the nearby village of Parigwan came out of their homes with their families due to the fear that the oxygen plant in the hospital does not explode from the fire. The villagers stayed under the shadow of the fear and gathered on the road. After extinguishing the fire late at night, the people of the village breathed a sigh of relief and returned to their homes.

Fire on second floor

The incident of fire took place at around 9:30 pm on Monday. The second floor of the hospital caught fire. It is being told that the fire occurred due to the short circuit. In a few Jhans, the flames intensified and the hospital’s ICU and female medicine ward came under its grip. More than 50 patients were admitted in both places. Seeing the fire, the exercise to save them started.

Patients shifted to other hospitals

In a hurry, all the patients were taken out. They were shifted to KGMU and other hospitals. After the fire in the hospital, patients were also brought to the civil hospital. Trauma center in -charge Dr. Vipin Mishra says, ‘Five patients have come. The condition of all patients is stable. Doctors of all departments are working.

At the same time, Rajesh Srivastava, director of the Civil Hospital, said that ‘about 24 patients have come. Their condition is stable. Treatment of all has started. Two who were serious have been admitted to the ICU. People who have come to this hospital are all fine and stable. On the way, the dead body of the deceased has been kept in the morchary so that the cause of death can be known.

Shifted 250 patients

People started breathing due to the smoke spread with flames. People started getting out of mask and cloth tied patients on the mouth. Around 250 patients hospitalized were removed and shifted to other hospitals. The team of fire brigade continued to control the fire till around 1 pm. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak kept an eye on the entire condition. He said that ‘more than 200 patients were transferred, no casualties were reported.’
