During the investigation, some videos and social media posts have come to light, which have brought this matter even more into discussion. Ketan Aggarwal’s fiancee Sia Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary have been arrested by the police on charges of murder. After the arrest, many things related to Ketan’s last days have come to light, including the special preparations made for Sia’s birthday.
Preparations were going on for a month for Sia Goyal’s birthday.
According to the family, Ketan Aggarwal had started preparations about a month in advance to make Sia Goyal’s 20th birthday special. Sia’s birthday was on June 19, while Ketan died a day before that on June 18. It is being told that about 40 rooms were booked in a luxury resort of Mahabaleshwar for the birthday party. A grand celebration with family and friends was planned.
Gave surprise with luxury car decorated with flowers
Some videos related to the case have come before the family members and media. In a video, Ketan Aggarwal is seen surprising Siya Goyal in a luxury convertible car decorated with flowers. In the video, Ketan gives a bouquet of flowers to Sia. After getting the surprise, Sia is seen hugging him. This video is becoming increasingly viral on social media.
Gave the gift while sitting on my knees in the restaurant
In another video, Ketan and Sia can be seen together in the restaurant. In the video, Ketan sits on his knees before giving the gift to Sia. During this, family and friends are heard expressing happiness and clapping. In the video, the two can also be seen spending time together and posing for pictures. These videos are believed to be one of the last public moments of the two before Ketan’s death.
The wedding was to take place in November, a luxury palace was booked in Udaipur.
Ketan Aggarwal and Siya Goyal’s engagement took place in February this year. Both the families had planned the wedding in November. According to family members, a palace in Udaipur had also been booked for the wedding. Preparations for the pre-wedding functions had also begun.
Sia Goyal did an emotional Instagram post after her death
After Ketan’s death on June 18, it was initially considered an accident. At the same time, Sia Goyal had shared an emotional tribute post for Ketan on Instagram. In the post, she had written that Ketan left her before her birthday and many of her questions remained unanswered forever. The Hindi caption of the post read, “My heart knows you are here. Come back.” Later this post came into limelight when the police accused Sia and Chetan of conspiring to murder.
Ketan Aggarwal died in Lohgarh Fort
Ketan Aggarwal was associated with his family’s real estate business and was working as a director in the company. He died on June 18 while trekking at Lohgarh Fort near Lonavala. It was told that he had fallen into a ditch about 400 feet deep. Initially the police considered it an accident. Siya Goyal had given a statement that while getting the photo clicked, Ketan’s foot slipped and he fell into the ditch.
New twist in investigation
As the investigation into the case progressed, the police examined call records, CCTV footage and other digital evidence. After this the investigation took a new turn. Police allege that Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary were in a relationship for more than a year and both considered Ketan an obstacle in the way of their future. Investigating agencies claim that both of them together conspired to murder Ketan.
Police claim- the accused confessed to the crime
According to the police, during interrogation, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary confessed to the murder. Investigators also claim that both of them had also tried to harm Ketan at Lohgarh Fort on June 14, but at that time they could not succeed in their objective. However, investigation into the matter is still ongoing and all facts will be confirmed as per the legal process.
Father had expressed concern about the relationship
Ketan Aggarwal’s father Vishal Aggarwal has claimed that his son had earlier also expressed concern about Sia Goyal’s behaviour. He also said that Ketan was suspicious of Sia and Chetan Chaudhary’s relationship. The family has also mentioned these things to the investigating agencies. At present, a case of murder and criminal conspiracy has been registered against Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). Both the accused are in police custody and investigation into the case is ongoing. Police say that further action will be taken based on the available evidence and investigation.
