Sayoni Ghosh is MP from Jadavpur Lok Sabha. He joined Trinamool Congress in 2021. She had lost the assembly elections in 2021, but despite this, Abhishek Banerjee made her the national president of TMC’s youth wing.

Whereas, Yusuf Pathan started his political career from TMC itself. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, TMC had given him ticket from Behrampur, from where he defeated senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary by a margin of more than 85 thousand votes.
Kakoli Ghosh is the leader of the rebels
More than 10 rebel MPs had met BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav a few days ago. West Bengal Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari was also present in this meeting.
After this, about 20 rebel MPs wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla asking to support the NDA. The rebels have also claimed to form a separate group. Rebel MPs have elected Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar as their leader.
Kakoli Ghosh said that she was with Mamata Banerjee even when she was not in power. He said that the earlier policies were for the welfare of the poor people of Bengal but for the last 3-4 years, work was not being done as per expectations.
