To bring changes in their lives, a special campaign is being run by TV9 Network and Shriram Finance, which is named Highway Heroes. It has now knocked in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Such sessions are being organized from Highway Heroes Campaign, which focus on strengthening mental health, physical health, financial awareness and technical skills of truck driver brothers.
Kanpur DCP Traffic, Ravindra Kumar appreciated this initiative of Tv9 Network and Shriram Finance. He not only met truck drivers, encouraged them but also encouraged them to follow traffic rules, understand and focus on their health. He said that truck drivers have a big role in running the country’s economy. Therefore, their health is good for the health of the country.
Ajay Kapoor, President of UP Motor Transport Association Kanpur, was also present in this campaign held in the metropolis. He also described TV9 Network and Shiram Finance’s Highway Heroes Campaign as a great step for truck drivers. From April 14 to April 15, this 2 -day event is being held in the UP Motor Transport Association 133/296, Transport Nagar, Babu Purva police station in Kanpur. Thousands of truck drivers are participating in this campaign. Special training and health sessions have been kept here, so that they can improve their work and life.
Special things of campaign
- Technical skill training: Drivers are being trained in new technology and safe driving. The certificate received after training is considered to be equal to 12th pass. This also makes it easier to renew the driving license.
- Yoga session: Continuous driving causes mental fatigue to drivers. Therefore, trainers of Yoga Institute are teaching them easy yoga, which will help in reducing stress.
- Health checkup: Piramal health team is doing free health checkup here, in which information is being given about diseases like sugar, BP, eye tests and TB.
- Financial training: With the help of NSE, truck drivers are being told how money can be saved and invested in low income. They are also being informed about avoiding cybercrime.

This campaign of TV9 Network and Shriram Finance is not just an event, but a change mission. Its purpose is to make the life of truck drivers better in every way. This campaign has been done in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh earlier. Soon, cities like Kalamboli, Gandhidham, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad are also going to happen.
